What goes together better than seafood and summer. I don't know what it is about the warm air and sunshine but it gives me a craving for some fresh seafood.
So for this summer's menu we have brought back some favorites and introduces some new dishes I think you'll love.
A new dish we're offering on our dinner menu this summer is Pan Seared Sea Scallops topped with a fresh citrus salsa. We start with fresh scallops and a very hot pan, to develop a beautiful sear on each side. Our chef prepares a salsa of orange, lime, tomato and jalapeno to top the scallops. This dish is light and refreshing and perfect for summer.
We've also been trying out a new dish that you may find on our weekend specials from time to time, Seared Ahi tuna over Watermelon Spinach Salad.
Lightly smoked ahi tuna seared rare is sliced and place over this sweet and savory salad of fresh spinach, diced watermelon, pecans & feta cheese with a watermelon vinaigrette.
Returning to our menu this summer menu: Steamers!
Little neck clam with andouille sausage & arugula with garlic & white wine. This dish was a favorite in our New York Times review and it's been a guest favorite every summer since.
